To anyone who hasn't heard, 29th April, GTA IV will be hitting shelves. WAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAH What an awesome surprise to have when logging into the forums for the day I am so stoked!!! All the time I'll be doing this I'll be sat there shaking like a sh*tting dog with excitement surrounded by beers and crisps, with my phones turned off and my speakers up full... pernunz Posted January 25, 2008 Share Posted January 25, 2008 I would really like to go and beat pedestrians and all that but I'm worried that I might do the wrong person and it will screw me up for future missions. Remember what R* said about every character remembering you? I might get to a permanent save point, turn auto-save off, THEN go test out the physics and whatnot. To all those people who say "have a firefight with the cops" it will take you a fair few missions to be able to get access to guns unless you manage to kill a cop and steal his, even then you'll have limited ammo so will need to become a pro at shooting really quickly if you want to build up your arsenal enough. I agree with pernunz, we simply won't have the firepower enough to have a real shootout until later on. We will probably get our asses kicked anyway. Oh but I think it is only cops who will remember our faces, peds would be a bit much, plus I dont think anything was said about them, only cops remembering you. I think i'll let Niko walk slow and then faster, just to check out how realistic his movement looks. I know for sure i won't be going to do any mission the very first few hours, i'll be messing around , like i did with the previous games.
