igotapk Posted January 24, 2008 Share Posted January 24, 2008 vigilante evidence even tho' we don't know how the vigilante will work. i think that you'll be able to use the police crime computer to start the vigilante missions. it says on games radar previews " You'll get access to the police crime computer, which among other things enables you to search the LCPD's criminal database (it also enables you to call for police backup, although Rockstar wouldn't tell us what that meant)". which might mean you'll be able to get a job as a police. considering that you can't call for police backup, unless you want to get in trouble some more. give me your thoughts on how should the vigilante missions run. Does anyone remember reading that peds will "remember" and will "run when they see you". Now if this applies to cops as well then if you have comitted a lot of crimes and police check their database they would come after you. Would we be able to delete ourselves from the database if this happened? What do you think? Sound stupid? Why not a Tommy V reference? If you'll remember, he was originally in LC; got busted and did a bid. When he got out, they sent him down to VC to start up and to get him outta their hair, basically. NutsAndy Posted February 19, 2008 Share Posted February 19, 2008 This idea does sound very intriguing, I'd love to be able to keep a cop car in the safe house if the onboard computer will allow you to use it out of missions. I like the idea of choosing a victim then stalking them for a few days before erasing them from liberty city . If you can somehow impersonate a police officer you could pull people over and steal their money without witnesses thinking you were just another criminal maybe? Could the call for backup feature be used to lure away officers from somewhere you were about to do a mission maybe, like say you're sat at the southern part of the map you could call for backup in the north and walk around popping heads left right and center then use the police siren to get away through any traffic buildup? Maybe even cruise through the "wanted area" in a police cruiser because police are less likely to be on the lookout for someone in their own cars. It would be really cool if the police computer updated Niko's profile to match everything each specific player actually does in the game.
