rocofqueenz
OKAY I HAVE READ ON THE INTERNET THAT YOU CANNOT MOD THE PS2 GTA SA, BUT I HAVE, I USED COGSWAPPER,IMGTOOL AND A MODDED BACKUP OF GTA SA I PUT IN THE FOLLOWING MODS: SA_F50[gta-worldmods],sa84_gallardo_furiousfun[gta-worldmods],sa28_audi_rsq,sa14_cien,Porsche_Carrera_GT[gta-worldmods.de], sa13_enzo,Pagani_Zonda_by_GlikoGen[gta-worldmods.de],phantomfinal,mclaren_f1_lm,ME_FOUR_TWELVE[gta-worldmods.de] Conceptcar_Nimble[gta-worldmods],Maserati_MC12[gta-worldmods.de],Bugatti_Veyron[gta-worldmods.de],1bentley_arnage_leedfxp, Mig_15_final[gta-worldmods],T47_Snowspeeder[gta-worldmods.de] AND FINALLY THE SUPERMAN_SA_BETA_v1.2 MOD. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS WHEN I PUT IN THE MODDED BACKUP AND LOAD WITH COGSWAPLOADER, IT LOADS , IT DOES THE WHOLE OPENING CREDITS WITH THE SONG AND IT DOES THE LOADING SCREEN WHERE IT SHOWS THE LINE AT THE BOTTOM BUT WHEN THE GAME IS SUPPOSED TO EITHER LOAD A SAVE OR START A NEW GAME IT DOES NOTHING. PLEASE I REALLY NEED HELP AND I ALSO NEED TO KNOW IF THERE IS A SPECIF FILE THAT LOADS THE WHOLE GAME. GTAfanattic
Okay, first things first - see the 'Caps Lock' button on your keyboard? - turn that off . Secondly, to be honest, I'm not surprised a modded PS2 install isn't working. As you said, it's widely documented as having a low success rate. The mods you have listed in a blur of words in the pararaph are presumably PC mods - not PS2. Just from the top of my head, I know PS2 uses different model and collision formats to the PCs. PC uses COL3 collision models, whereas the PS2 only supports up to COL2. The PS2 dff (model) format is also different. While very similar, they are not byte to byte identical to the PC's format, and therefore won't work. Unless these mods are specifically for the PS2 version, then you have no hope. Give up. Otherwise - is your PS2 chipped? Using CogSwap doesn't have a very good success rate, and unless you've burnt your DVD-R with the PS2 specific .iso format, it ain't gonna work either.
