Can VCS CheatDevice v2.4 PRX work on 3.80M33

I'm not sure if it works on 2.80M33.

the 2.71 version of the .prx may work, but I'm not completely sure.

 

the thing with the 2.71 version, is there are many reports that some of the pointer related cheats, like pcar and pplayer may not work. which will make most of the cheats useless.

 

 

as far as dax quitting, idk what happened there.

I think he just wanted to change his name so he wouldn't get in trouble for his firmwares.

he "left" in the middle of issues with the ps3 hackers getting in trouble, so he probably wanted to keep a low profile.

he's not as busy as he used to be, but he still has the occasional updates to his firmwares.

vettefan88, thanks for trying to help out, but I asked for 3.80M33 not 2.80M33. I currently have 3.71M33-2 btw

Yes, it does work

Put "vcscheatdevice371.prx" into seplugins ( "ms0\seplugins" is the directory)

 

Add the line ms0\seplugins\vcscheatdevice371.prx in "game.txt" and save (game.txt should be in the seplugins folder

 

Finally, add the cheats.txt folder that comes with the cheat device

(ms0\cheats\vcs\cheats.txt)

 

If this doesn't work, try renaming "game.txt" to "game"
