SAMI PROBLEM

i have a problem with the mod installer. whenever i install a new car with sami something goes wrong. wen i select and load my game it jss doesn't load all the way, stops at 2quarter of the way and the game never loads> y doesn't it work? ...thxs

what version of sa are you using? If it's 2.0 mods won't work.

If you do have V2, Then search on google for the downgrader patch, install it, now try installing mods with SAMI.

 

If you still have trouble, try using IMGTool 2.0.

Might be SAMI as well. I refuse to use it after having a few SAMI slip-ups. I do everything manually now. Have you succesfully installed any mods in that game before?

none and i have V1.1 so how shud i go about and solve this pro?

and does the version of sdami has to the same version of ur gta sa? like if i have a v2 gta sa so do i need a v2 of sami?

Not too sure about the moddability of v1.1 , as I've always had a v1.0 . You could always look for a downgade patch and a v1.0 exe, just to be on the safe side.

 

SAMI versions aren't created to suit the same version number of the game. So the latest version is always the 'best'.

My problem with SAMI is that it'll do everything perfectly and then (without any good reason) occasionally slip up a bit, completely wrecking my handling.cfg or my vehicles.ide . As a result I now install all cars manually, using spark 0.9 and notepad. It doesn't take that much longer once you get used to it, although streetracers and lowriders tend to take a lot of time. But then again I prefer to avoid cars that use bodykits and stuff as much as possible.
