here is my theory....

 

1. Maybe Roman in the end gets greedy and gets people to try to kill niko for money.

2. Maybe Roman won't turn against you and dies

 

1. Then that would probly mean roman is that special someone for revenge.

2. then the killer would be that special someone.

Yeah, it seems like a possability. But Rockstar are going for something different, and in some previous GTA games, there have been betrayals (not gonna say for anyone who hasn't completed) so they might not go down with another.

 

I seem to like Roman so far (already) and Niko, and with the "choices" I hope we can make some changes.

I seem to recall some very similar talk prior to - for example - San Andreas: There would be multiple ways of beating the game, etc. Usually turns out that multiple ways means nothing more than a choice between a set of missions available at a certain point in the storyline. I doubt very much you'll get the chance to actually choose your own storyline - but I maybe wrong...

im thinking that roman owes money to people, so they rob a bank to pay off the debt as they are getting ready to give the money to the debtors, someone like elizabeta betrays them and they get "jumped for a couple of mill." because roman has no money people go after him and kidnap him. niko then proceeds to murder the ppl that betrayed him the people who stole his money and the people that kidnapped roman.

this is great, I think you have predicted the main story.

 

everything is great Niko and Roman, but Roman gets killed in the middle of the game and the rest is just Niko revenging his cousin.

I think Roman has f*cked things up with some people you shouldnt f*ck things up, he owns money etc... Niko tries to help him out but something goes wrong and they kill the cousin, so he goes vendicative.
