It was nothing to do with Halo 3 just that it wasn't ready to be released yet. Simple as that. EDIT: May I join a mod in slamming my head against the screen. The DLC wasn't slated to be released until 2008, which means when they delayed it the DLC was pushed to 2009, which makes it even longer before MS can start making their money back on it.
