Traditionally, I wouldn't even think to start up my own topic around here. Hell, it's hard enough to find the will to post a reply to whatever half-assed topic catches my interest at any given time. But since I'm in the mood for a bit of attention whoring, I've gone ahead and started up this topic for no good reason. You're welcome. So let me start off with a bit of piss-moaning; I miss the old days, the old days of anti-fail, if you will. You could waste away an entire evening in the Off-Topic forum, posting mindless reply after mindless reply to conversations that went on for many pages. But now all of that has disappeared. There are no hidden cameras in the woods, no Mongolian grills-its... all I see around here these days is random bullsh*t that has either been plucked from the front page of digg or scraped up from the dampest nether regions of the interweb. What the hell happened? I don't consider myself bitter, and I've always been one to go with the flow (for the most part), but something seems to be lacking around here. More random pictures, mayhaps? Or mayhaps not? ...moving on to the next point of interest. I know I've been inactive for a while, but goddamn. It seems like half of the people that used to populate this here area just packed up and left without saying goodbye. I pick through topics and recognize only a small fraction of the members... not to be rude, but who ARE you people? And why is General Chat suddenly so BORING? Thirty-f*cking-five percent of my overall posts on this website are in this forum. THIRTY-fuggin'-FIVE. I used to thrive around here, but now I can't even find the heart to post anything wortwhile in here anymore. And that's just tragic. Speaking of unfamiliar faces - hello. On a more serious note, it does seem like most of the older members have disappeared without a trace. I take no offense to the statement of uneven moderation, mostly because my position as a moderator is more of the "motivation and team spirit"-type. I'm a cheerleader of sorts, you see. @ Cuban: Holy f*ck I want those shoes. Those things must've bridged the gap between the 20th and 21st century...
