Paaulius Posted January 19, 2008 Share Posted January 19, 2008 So guys, I have a bad problem. Usualy I play VC on my laptop ,but the game is lagging. So I tryed to install this game to my normal PC. Instaliation was fine ,then i entered the game and i pressed "new game". Game is loaging ,everything is fine...but then the loading is allmost finished it stops. And I waited 10 minutes and only then loading finished. I didnt like it. But its arent the worst part... I saw video with sonny and i pressed enter. Video should change to other video quickly ,but it doesnt. Black screen was holding maybe 6 minutes. And when i come to any mission for example "The Party" and black screen with the mission inscription hold about 6 minutes. Same is when i come or leave any building. Same problem is with GTA3 on this PC. On lapton and my friend everything is fine. What should i do? (sorry for weak engligh) OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600) CPU: AutheticAMD Unknown processor @ 1605 MHz (+ about 1500 MHz) with 1024 MB RAM VIDEO: ATI RADEON x700 (256 MB) Series (6553) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
gtamodder Posted January 19, 2008 Share Posted January 19, 2008 Start up Vice City, then ALT + TAB Out the game, bring up task manager, click the processes tab, right click gta-vc.exe, then set priority to high. If this doesn't work, try updating video card drivers, or try 98 compatibilty mode (right click gta-vc.exe, click properties, compatibilty tab, and choose to run in 98) then click apply then ok. Since you tried on another computer, I have no help. let your hopes and dreams turn into burning fire! Jose_yero Posted March 15, 2008 Share Posted March 15, 2008 hey fellow awesome people lmao ive been playing Gta vice city on my pc for about a year or so now And one day it just didnt even load into a black screen, i clicked it and boom nothing happend (it looked like it was loading with the mouse thingo) so then i thought it wasnt normal os i just went onto the other user on my pc and it worked Fine.. and i dont want to detele my other user which doesnt run it IS There i way to make it work on my orginal user AGAIN PLEASE HELP Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
