Gabriel Constantin 1
I'd rather call him "The Jester Of Punk" because that's all that he is... a joke! He's the biggest c*nt I've ever seen, and whether or not that makes him "punx" I don't really care. But I can't really stand his music, and his ideology isn't really that "punk" just offensive. Which in my eyes, isn't what punk is about.
WhittyC 0
Fave band are Ramones. i know alot people will say they are rock and some say they are the godfathers of punk. not to bothered they are the best . I always considered The Ramones punk.

outcest 5
Also, can we talk about ska in here or no? yes plz. In which case, Op Ivy, Reel Big Fish, Streetlight Manifesto, Bosstones, Sublime, and Keasbey Nights-era Catch 22 are the heavy hitters of ska punk for me.. though generally I prefer 2Tone era ska like the Specials and Madness. Gabriel Constantin 1
Ska Punk? Sure. I'm a fan of it, myself. EDIT: Someone already beat me to it! In which case, I've never really been into Ska that much. I've never delved much further than the mainstream bands and a few odd-picks. Though overall I'm a fan of; Less Than Jake, Spangle, Culture Shock, Citizen Fish & some later Clash (if you count it as Ska). I also consider X-Ray Spex to be an early prototype for the Ska Punk genre, as well as Riot Grrl! But that may just be me. I still like 'em, especially older stuff, but yeah, once you get to know some more bands they kinda lose their edge.

Gabriel Constantin 1
News for any devoted Horror Punk fans, The Misfits are rumoured to be releasing their seventh studio album sometime during April of this year. Jerry Only has stated that the album will contain: "The hardest, most aggressive Misfits material yet to be heard in the band’s legacy." Other rumours have stated that Graves will be returning to provide vocals for this latest endevour, though he himself has denied his involvement with the band, leaving Only on vocals once more. Doink 18
Leftover Crack Hell yes. I can't really stand straight ska though. You talking about 1st wave stuff like The Skatalites? If so, I can't really stand too much of it either. I have to be in a very relaxed mood to do so. Gimme some fast paced ska like 2 tone and 3rd wave, and I'm good.

ISd3d 0
I don't really listen to too much Oi! but Cock Sparrer and The Business are the sh*t.
Mullen 3
Good list, but The Redskins ain't Oi at all. They're more like political soul with a little bit of punk here and there. That's how I would describe them. @ISd3d: amen to that, cock sparrer rules.
Rhoda 6,978
Hopefully Green Day will be returning to the light side for their next album. According to my copy of NME, they have 3 current directions for their new album; another rock opera like American Idiot, harder punk as heard on Insomniac or something completely different... please be Insomniac inspired. Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus 1
The Ergs! are a pretty good punk band with a more poppy sound, everyone should check 'em out. They did a cover of "Linus and Lucy?" I'm totally into them now. I'm a bit iffy about the other songs on their myspace, though. It's probably just not my style. Nice recommendation, nonetheless. I said punk as well didn't i and besides skinheads+punk=Oi! not always but pretty often Not that i would call the redskins Oi! since there lacking the Oi! element (football scantish choruses and Lyrics about fotball, beer, fights etc) Oi! is really the second wave of punk in england, but it got a bad name after southall so the Punks left it for a while which led to bands like combat 84 and condemned 84 gaining popularity Edited January 29, 2008 by Dem57
