Bates_GTA Posted January 19, 2008 Share Posted January 19, 2008 I used a number of cheats on SA to complete it first time around, now when i play it the game freezes all the time & i can get a play on it , Does anyone know why this happens? because it seems to have happened to a few people that use cheats so is that why? But i just wondered if this has happened to anyone else before on the ps2? I know it happens to me too. The radio wouldn't work properly, it will be all static, and then the game would freeze. I can't even drive the Super GT without the game freezing . I have it for the PS2, I'm wondering if our discs are scratched too badly or it's the memory or save data. This happens to me aswell on ps2. I solved the problem by playing on an older save file. If you have alot of save files from good old missions you will have to play on them. Its annoying how your good files is stuffed i know but the only way to play GTA:SA is on a new save file or a file that you have saved 10+ missions back. Erlier i took GTA SA and swapped it for another Pre-Owned, ive been playing for an hour & unfortunately it's froze & again said on the screen - 'error readin Grand Theft Auto disc, oh and if anyone want's to know its for the ps2, i was really gutted aswel, hadn't played it in a while & was replaying a load of missions & basically enjoying myself on it.
