Now I have only read through 5 pages of this fighting and very very sexual talk, but is it too late for me to join? Vercetti21 Posted January 22, 2008 Share Posted January 22, 2008 I guess just however long the story requires. We can't really measure it till we know where we're going. Here's how I'm thinking we should do it: We do a chapter a week. A chapter consists of a "post" of writing from everyone in the story. Before we move on to the next chapter, we discuss any major events that are going to happen in it, and since we are telling the story form several different points of view, well, we write about that event in our post. The first chapter will be for character introductions. Just write about who you are, who you are working for, why you are doing what you are doing, etc. and how you connect with some of the other characters in the story. Example: If you are a part of the team of Spec-ops, explan your relationship with some of the other members of the team, or if you are a hitman, explain how you became involved in crime. Not only that, but I have an awesome back-story for a mercenary character. @Vercetti21: I like that method, I say we go with it. I also say that we plan out a few major plot points, the ending, etc. before we even begin writing a single chapter. I don't think we should start as soon as we have our final list- maybe spend a few weeks plotting it out first, as there are a lot of us who will have a say in it, and also not everyone can come on every day. I would still support the idea of a forum for this part, seeing as if we hold all discussions in one topic we're almost certain to miss something important.
