Oxidizer
Alright. So, each of us writes an intro chapter for our character, right? If so, does everybody know who their characters'll be yet, like gender and background et cetera? 'Cause I was gonna use the main character of a mini-series I had in mind, but I'm thinking of making up a completely different hitman (or hitwoman in this case). That okay? Sorry to bombard you guys with questions BTW. It's been a long time.

Stefan.
I have always been in. Everytime I log on, I pop in here to see if there are any new posts. Unfortunately, nobody had posted. My bad; I should have bumbped the topic to save it from diving down to the depths of the page. @Oxidizer: Oh yeah, all my character details are pretty much set. The only question I have in mind is how long they will be. Any ideas? Two paragraphs?
Vercetti21
Character introductions should be about 2 or 3 (relatively big) paragraphs in length. So that is what chapter 1 is reserved for. Once everyone has posted something about their character, we move on to chapter 2. Alright, so we know chapter 1's purpose, but what event is going to be taking place? I think it should be how your character arrives in the country, noting his motives and reasons for being there.
Cubanwhip
I was thinking a separate introduction chapter for each group because if all of us did 2-3 'big' paragraphs then that is going to be a really long first chapter. So, four chapters, one for each group, so it's not like sitting in front of a computer for an hour.
Vercetti21
Fine by me. Just means that certain people will write certain chapters, rather than everyone taking part in every chapter. If that becomes the case, I think the Revolutionaries/Old Government should do chapter 1, considering the events of the story will be taking place in their domestic country, and their characters will have a bit more knowledge of the country's situation better, in order to explain what is going on. Stefan.
Yeah, that is a good idea. Although, I think the mercenaries/revolutionaries should go second, to show their reasons and their background, with the hitmen last, as, quite frankly, they are least important. Oxidizer
Agreed about those being good ideas. I'm seriously considering having a hitwoman as my character, as those seem a little more badass and unique compared to males. Can you believe I'm actually not a feminist? Stefan.
Can you believe I'm actually not a feminist? It is hard not to believe. I am quite happy with being stuck as a male character. Preferably from a war-torn country, to give some sort of background. Eastern Europe (although not exactly war-torn) would be a good point.
TubbyJ
*Bump for glory! I think we should start discussing our characters and finer plot details now. Anyone else agree?

TubbyJ
This is such a mess. It's so funny. No it is not! We're doing a good job... ... this isn't happening, is it?
Oxidizer
Doesn't seem likely. We're kinda going in circles - and even that's only as far as the character intros and figuring out who's in which group.
Vercetti21
Maybe we should just start it now before we lose interest, or before it gets any messier. (Yes, I know - that's what she said.) Seriously though, let's worry about introducing characters in chapter 1. They will make a better introduction if they are tied within the writing rather than discussion in here. Stefan.
Whatever actually gets us going. By the way, I will not be on from Monday to next Friday, so I will not be able to bump it/make progress during then. Sorry.

Chickstick
I have the feeling this isn't going anywhere at the moment. Why not start the first chapter with the old government (did we even have a group for that?)- that way the revolution could be described in detail, then in later chapters others can introduce their own characters. Chickstick
I saw this bumped hoping for some ideas on where we're going, but sadly not. I agree about the 15th March deadline- if we're actually going to do this it will get our arses in gear.

Eminence
It's funny how you all debate whether or not to do something, and yet nobody actually steps forward and begins work. It's also humorous to see how CubanWhip, the self-imposed chairman of the entire project, has vanished without a trace. In any case, bravo, fellas.
