Ak4tsevEn
It would definatly be a good way of earning extra money besides having a perfectly normal job in GTA IV, which is a confirmed feature. Posting your CV online at internet cafe's around Liberty City can get you 9-5 jobs as means of making an honest living. But more onto drug dealing....selling crack/heroin bought from other dealers on your mobile i think will definatly be included in this title, it makes perfect sense of the "rags to better rags" theme in GTA IV. Imagine parking your car up and then walking around the streets of bohan looking for customers...or even calling them up! Would you sell him crack and then knock him out with a few punches (Fighting AI will be much more realistic and natural rather then killing someone with 5 punches like in SA and VC etc.)...then get your money back when he's out cold, or would you take the honest way of dealing and move on once you've sold him his fix? I want to know what you guys think, discus....
Hobo-Lord
I honestly didnt want drug dealing in SA, besides if the mayor of newYork Found out (who is leading in presidency) he would ban the game
Gooners-jay-and-scott
Drug dealing would be a pretty good feature, if its another way of making money. would just sell it then leave. It would be good if sometimes a gang tries robbing all your drugs off you lol. Then again would drug dealing suit Niko?

Hope
It kind of bothered me that Carl Johnson never did any drugs and turned down offers. I hope Rockstar weren't trying to make some anti-drug statement - f*ck that..

A.Bod
of course where cj came from was the ghetto and there was drug dealing but if he was a drug dealer how would you control that, when you play the character, it really is a dumb idea- have the character you control sell drugs, how would it be done? Even if it can be done it is a stupid idea that doesnt fit Niko as we currently see him now. Of course he meets elizabeta who sells drugs, but remember we dont control her in the game, we control niko so im sorry AK but i have to give another one of your topics a we arent going to have jobs period, you put one mission into a whole game- the only jobs we are going to have with Niko and as gamers are the missions

Khal
I think it would be a kick ass thing to put in but I also see it as one more reason for someone to sue/ban the game
Raptomex
I hope there is a feature like drug dealing. But I hope it's more involved and not as repetitive as in Vice City Stories.
CryptReaperDorian
Don't forget about Vice City, there was drug dealing. The Mr. Whoopee had a side mission called Distribution (or something like that) where you sell Cherry Poppers ice-cream (ice-cream with drugs on it) to pedestrians and it will attract police and gang attention (not the good friendly attention). Yes, you can post your resume online for a mission where you assasinate a lawyer. Does this guarantee 9-5 jobs? NO!! And why would you want to? Thats what real life is for. on topic: drug dealing (like in scarface) would be a great way to make money, after all, we are criminals. who is going to crack down and say that the murder, theft, carjacking, and cop-killing in GTA is ok but drug dealing goes too far??? matt_hrkac
drug dealing in gta iv would be ok in this format like you build buisnesses around town and you get an income every week like what you had to do in vice city stories
Emm Ell
Slightly off GTA here but... In NARC you could sell all types of drugs: Weed, crack, acid etc., could also kill peds/cops and (while the game was s***) it wasn't banned. Just a thought, although obviously GTA causes a lot more controversy than most games.
fatcity
I agree, I would like to see dealing in the game, but different than the versions we have seen in VC or VCS. There is a game that I used to play on a graphing calculator called Drug Wars - a text game - where you had several areas you could travel to, and buy and sell drugs. In one location, the price of a given drug was generally lower than in other ares, so you would buy it in one location and try to find which of the other areas had the best going price to sell it in. The prices were constantly fluctuating, so you might make a ton of money on one deal, and then some other time, get stuck with a bunch of high priced drugs you can only sell for a loss. This added a much more interesting element than just 'pick up drugs at location x, deliver to three places, and get a fixed amount of money.' lunchbox_2008
i think it would be cool if u could buy the drugs (by the pound or something) and then have 3 or 4 contacts that call u up to buy the drugs off you. example: you call your drug dealer on your cellphone, meet up with him, purchace. leave. a few game hours later or something a client call you up to buy. you meet him at your safe house or theres or some other meething place and sell to them. This is the type of drug dealing I always wanted to see in the gata games. Alot more fun then just going to specific locations and getting fixed amounts of money as you said. I hear you with the graphing calculator games, games like Pac-Man and Tetris on the calc caused me to repeat math..hah
