New Preview

I'm going to post this topic because I just don't give a sh*t... and i didn't get an answer

 

GTA4.net said that it would be this week, but when would that be? Thursday, Friday, Saturday?

Also, it said that we would get the preview by the end of the month. Why wouldn't we get the day ign sees the preview?

Word has reached us that the next wave of online previews are due to arrive before the end of the month. Kikizo, GameSpot, IGN, GamesRadar, CVG, and 1UP will all pay a visit to Rockstar Games this week to preview the latest build of GTA IV. We will post more details as soon as they become available to us.

 

If you are unfamiliar with the format of these previews, check out some of the previous ones from July. These previews will also contain new screenshots.

 

There you go... this week they are seeing it, look at the underline.

 

So, before this gets locked again, when will it come out, mabe i can get an answer this time instead of a faget PMSing.

Speaking of proofreading, it's amazing how many errors go unnoticed.

 

I've noticed grammatical and spelling errors on State issued exams, GTA IV Previews, award-winning novels, etc.

Not the game magazines...the game websites. IGN, TeamXbox, and Gamespy received their demo on Monday and those are not gaming magazines, they are gaming websites...just thought I'd point that out.

yeah they will get their previews this week, but it takes a lot of time to write what they will write about- from what i saw at kikizo (w/e) is like ten pages i think, i takes a while to write that much and check for mistakes in the article. so its not like they will have them ready by tomorrow unless they spend like 24 hours straight on it. things take time so as much as we've waited for this game for nearly a year, i think we can wait a week for a preview

As for why they don't release them that day, as others said, it takes a while to write a several page article. After writing a preview, journalists usually have to get it approved by the game publisher who checks for info they don't want revealed yet and such. Publishers also usually give a date on which it can be published, so that various outlets all have time to see the game, then write and release their articles at the same time. In some cases, web writers have to sit on an article for a month or more so that magazines have time to print copies in order to release their previews at the same time as the web sites. And sometimes, some game publishers will even delay the release of previews for no other reason than timing it with their marketing plan.

What you said is true, but I hope these new GTA IV previews aren't involved in all of those complications you just mentioned. I'm so paranoid with this game now I'm fearing a freakin DELAY OF THE NEXT PREVIEW! Hahahaha...it would be so sick if these previews don't come out in January, especially considering that Jordan has "Jordan expects a release date announcement by the end of January" posted on the very top of www.planetgta.com.
