I tried to fly Dodo, but cant.

I press and hold Up button + 6 num button. When i see the nose f Dodo sparks, i release 6 num button, and Dodo rise in air. But then, Dodo cant accelerate even i press Up button.

So, how do you fly your Dodo ?

Once you're up in the air it will gain altitude all the time until you level out.

If you use the control to make it climb (whichever you have that set to for your system), only tap lightly and briefly on it. Otherwise you'll climb too steeply and will stall.

In fact you have to be very light on the controls all the time.

If you hold any control down for a long time you'll probably crash.

Actually, whatever you do, you'll probably crash. Get used to it. You'll be crashing a lot at first. But it is possible if you stick with it

never pull up at all if youre learning

just wait till it sparks, release everything and then try to bring it AS CLOSE to the ground again w/o touching the ground though, the only way to gain speed is by flying downwards and in circles

push it down, push it down, push it down.. and once it gets hard to control you let it level up and even out, then repeat

  • 4 weeks later...

Dodo is hard to flew right now try this....

1. Get dodo in Francis INTL. Airport.... right?

2. Get in then go in next runway doesn't using to launch airplane.

3. Accelerate to 'W' it must be turret down too...

4. once you hear the grind thing on dodo try not pressing turret down for a second

5. once you fly up. the dodo will poke the nose up release again turret down...

6. if dodo wants to fly up try this only if you can while. 'try not turret down try to fly for 2 then turret down again'

if the guide doesn't helpful try other things..... sorry for my english

I'm also having problems flying the dodo, i fly for about 10 seconds then my plane goes down into the sea. confused.gif

Just give yourself time to learn how to do it right. The very first time I actually took off the proper way (that is, accelerating while holding the nose down until it scrapes the tarmac), my flight lasted as far as the Callahan Bridge. I've since been able to keep it in the air indefinitely.

It's all about keeping the Dodo level. Let it gain some altitude during takeoff, but don't let the nose get too high above the wings. Use that nose down button. And if you're banking, never hold the turn button. Keep tapping it until the plane is facing the direction you desire.

I made it to the other island but i crashed because the plane seems to have a mind of its own. It keeps moving side to side then i crashed. cryani.gif

As long as you're not pressing any buttons other than the nose down to keep it level, or tapping the left or right turn buttons to bank, the plane shouldn't be doing that.

If the plane keeps rocking or trailing off to one side, try your best to bank the opposite direction and keep it level.
