2-3 Months Can Feel Like 2-3 Years

Some may consider 2-3 Months [March or April] a long, long wait, which infact is quite understandable when you're waiting for one of the world's biggest games, even after a delay, some like me, especially that have been waiting for atleast 2 years now. I don't know if you feel the same on how it may seem like forever, but what's a good way to make the time pass much faster? For example, what games do you recommend to play that will keep you busy, or what activities or things you can stop doing to make it go faster? I have been playing COD 4, Assassin's Creed, and The Orange Box. So far, I still can't stop wanting some new GTA info and most of the time there is none and it just makes the wait seem a whole lot longer. So like I said, what's a good method of making 2-3 months fly?

Best answer gets a cookie cookie.gifwink.gifTHANK YOU!

Well, personally, i find that if i don't think about something, it usually comes a lot quicker, although this would be difficult in waiting for GTA IV.

So my answer would be, to speed up the wait 'til info/release..Don't wait.

Give yourself a release date for IV and count down the days, literally. I did this for San Andreas, but then again, that was San Andreas, not GTA IV. To killl the time I intend to max out my Criminal Rating on San Andreas, re-do Vice City to 100% complete along with Vice City Stories and GTA III.

If I find myself running out of time...then, hey that's a good thing.

cookie.gif I tried this too, i tried to do 100% in 3 again, then I stopped because I got to the dumbest mission in the game, the one where all the guys on 'SMACK' run out of vans saying "HAHAHA come to daddy" or something.

Go jack off till the game comes out.

Actually, I can wait. I'm too busy playing with my PS3. inlove.gif

Jacking off sounds like a great plan. tounge.gif

What....the....f*ck...

Well I would advise you to purchase other games, Myself, I've been buying games like crazy, like 1 or 2 every week... and I'm still not able to wait for GTAIV - I've past all the major games there is to play, and I'm thinking about just waiting now to get Metal Gear Solid & Gran Turismo. Which should be out pretty soon.

Well, at the moment i am starting over on San Andreas and its makin time go a little faster...also having a job helps because the days fly by when your working. so, for now i am happy to play San Andreas and aim to complete it 100%. smile.gif

Do what Cartman did in Southpark because he could not wait to get his Wii. Freeze yourself on a mountain until it comes out. If you are lucky enough you thaw right in time for the release. If not, well prepare for a future with Otter warriors. Those who've seen the episode know what I'm talking about. biggrin.gif

Its like waiting for Christmas, times a thousand.

Well put GTA IV at the back of your mind for now. Stay focused on other things like beating other games or get a job etc. When you see a new headline for GTA IV just ignore it so you can surprise yourself when the game comes out. That's what I'm doing right now and it's working. biggrin.gif

March 10 2008 isnt THAT long

Exactly. It's not too far away. And besides i got a load of stuff to worry about school (midterms and regences at the end of the year) then GTA4, even though i still go on these forums everyday. smile.gif

The games you could play are COD 4, Halo 3, etc..

Or better yet, instead of playing games how about you:

Workout

Get a Girlfriend

A job

Basically just get a life
