C.ompton
Jordan's site The March/April Showdown [ 1 Comment ] 10:02 PST | Jordan | Print News | Category: GTA IV While Grand Theft Auto IV is set to be released in Take-Two Interactive Software's second financial quarter which falls between February and April, one of the three months in that timespan can definitely be ruled out. I assure you that the game will not be released in February. March and April are now the two months that everyone will be eyeing. Will it be March 4th, 11th, 18th or 25th? If not in March, will it be April 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd or 29th? April 22 looks likely, but we will hopefully know the correct date for sure by the end of this month. If you haven't bought a new console or a high definition television, now is the time to start thinking about buying! Morning Mail [ 1 Comment ] 0:57 PST | Jordan | Print News | Category: Morning Mail Today brings us three questions on the subjects of car damage, explosions and camera angles: hello Jordan. I have 2 questions about car damage. first, do you think the car damage is gonna be more realistic because in past games the cars dent real easily and its all unrealistic. And also, do you think cars will still explode when they get flip upside down. thats unrealistic too. And a third question, do u think there'll be camera angles from inside cars when your driving. Thats what i've always wanted to see the steering wheel and dashboard. Thanks!!!! - jfoper86 First, I am guessing that we will see realistic damage on cars. If you beat the left side of the hood of a car in a specific spot with a baseball bat, you should see the damage on the left side of the hood of the car in that specific spot, and I believe we will see that in the game. I have a very hard time believing that Rockstar Games will just preset a few spots on vehicles to automatically appear to be dented. The physical technology with this game is far beyond what we had in previous games in the series. Expect some sort of realistic denting and damage to vehicles. Second, I would guess that cars will still explode if they flip. I think it's a fun feature of the Grand Theft Auto series, so why not continue it in Grand Theft Auto IV? However, imagine a car flipping over and then seeing a bunch of enemies closing in. If vehicles didn't explode after flipping, it would be interesting if Niko could shoot the gas tank on the underside of the car, therefore causing the vehicle to explode and kill the enemies. Remember that gas tanks could be fired on in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on the side of cars where you could see the gas tank flip door. Third, I do believe we will see an in-car camera angle where you can see the vehicle interior. This will most likely now happen due to much better looking interiors than in previous GTA games. Gooners-jay-and-scott
That would be cool seeing the car interior as you drive. I would be using that camera angle when im just driving randomly, but i would change it when in a mission

ceedot
It's not new info, it's just Jordan speculating... Exactly. It's not official. The interiors part may be correct, as MC will feature amazing interiors, and it is made by a Rockstar company as well. We see the boat interior in trailer 3, and it's not as if it would make a difference if it wasnt there, so I could see a camera in the drivers position as well. If anyone also remembers, while in a taxi, it will be 1st person view. So having a sh*t interior in a taxi would be pretty.... well sh*t. And I don't see Niko being a driver like in other games, so it may be in all cars.
