koen47
Ok this is the situation. I have a router, That router has 2 cables coming out of it. One goes to this computer The other one upstairs to my 360 I wanted to buy a new laptop and put it next to my 360 I wanted to use a switch to split the cable in two. Question: The PC and the Xbox coming from the switch should they have the same static IP or a different one, to be able on the internet at the same time? Edwards
Different. Two computers on the same network should never have the same IP address. Think of the switch as a USB hub, or a road intersection connecting 4 different directions of travel. sysnode.org
