ive made a model and rigged it, its a pair of boots and they need to replace cj's default feet, so if you get rid of any footwear, my model is being used

 

i found out that feet.dff is the model im after, even though i believed barefeet.dff to make more sense..

 

the model works ingame but the texture is not the one i had assigned to my model but still the default foot texture even though ive made my own txd replace feet.txd.

ok no probs maybe it reads the texture from a different txd. i went through the whole player.img with g-txd to find any textures with feet on them and replaced them with my own texture for my boots, ingame result was just black boots

 

i then went step by step with replacing stuff in order to maybe understand this mess, so i confirmed that the game doesnt crash when i only replace feet.dff and feet.txd, next step - replaced player_feet.txd too, with my own, game crashed.

ive made sure to name my texture the same as the original texture in all the txd's, "foot".

 

also, in the original feet.txd, there is no foot texture but a shoe texture

 

so in the end all i know is that feet.dff is the actual naked foot, when you choose to remove any footwear in the wardrobe, any help aprechiated

your looking for feet.dff and player_feet.txd and about the game crashing check to see that your model points to foot.tga. hope that works out okay, good luck.

oh i forgot to post that it works now, txd was f*cked, sa really is picky
