Zombified Jake
A calender can be seen to the right of Niko by the cabinet doors above the sink. thats called a window. do you have a window above your sink or do you have a calender? Sweet, we're getting windows above sinks with chicks in bikinis standing outside! ...Oh no wait, nevermind, it is a calender, though it is a pretty convincing window isn't it though? Moving on swiftly, holidays? Yes, that would be excellent. Would the game suck without them? No, it wouldn't, but still, holidays would be a nice add. Eddie280
I was just wandering why anyone would be opposed to a real, seasonal calender. I think it would be a nice touch We're getting slightly off topic, but my problem was only if you have everyday of the year accounted for so that we play through each day and the seasons were tied to that structure. If you divide the year into 4 seasons it means each season is 91.25 days. If they keep 1 hour = 1 minute then that means that you'd have to play for almost 4 complete days before the season changed. Or if you played for 4 hours every day then it might take 23 days to get to the next season. I could see it as perfectly possible to play through the whole storyline without moving onto the next season. If seasons aren't tied to your progress through the missions, then one person might find their missions much harder than other players due to ice & snow for example. BTW: You weren't "wandering". You were "Wondering". [Pet peeve of mine - sorry] well if you put it that way then i suppose it might take too long. But if it is like the Bully system then you could change from winter to spring in less than 1 game day, which would be worse IMO. P.S. Aimee
I haven't read all the posts in here so someone else may have already said it, but as i've said elsewhere before, if they can do it in Bully, they could do it in IV. Edit: I just read carpetdweller and Eddie280's above posts, and actually i didn't think of it like that So yeah, good points. mcgriz
I see your point and with a calendar I suppose you have to stick to the dates. Unless you just skip through the months, it can't work like Bully. Boooo never mind. I just had an off topic thought - If R* employees read our posts, imagine how smug they must be knowing whats in the game and watching as we mull over all these ideas. Carbine23
Saints Row Day (Parody of Saint Patricks Day) - A day where civilians dress up in Purple with the world "Saints Row F***in Sucks" on the front. The origin comes from a stupid f***ing cult in Ireland named Saints Row who vowed to destroy St. Rockstar. But St. Rockstar and his powers from god destroyed the cult and freed Ireland, that is until the English invaded. Saints Row Day brings back the terrible memories from the evil cult of the Saints Row and the heroic memories of St. Rockstar.
