How do I put A icon by my name, or like a picture below one of my posts? How do you do all of the stuff to your profile thing?

Go to My Controls under the banner and you'll see links such as Edit Signature and Edit Avatar.

Find an avatar/sig that you like and put the link in the edit signature/edit avatar.

 

Beware, oversized sigs will cause your signature to be disabled.

 

Make sure the green box surrounding your signature does not contain any red, if it does it's too big.

1. Find the image you would like to use as an avatar/signature and right click it, then click "Save As." Save it somewhere on your PC.

 

2. Visit an image hosting website, such as PhotoBucket, which requires you to register a (free) account, or IsaraPix, which requires no account and all of their profits go to charity.

 

3. Copy the URL, and come back here.

 

4. Go to "My Controls," "Edit Avatar Settings," and paste the URL into the box at the bottom.

 

5. Hit "Update Avatar," and there you go.

 

For signatures:

 

1-3. See above.

 

4. Go to "My Controls," "Edit Signature," and paste the URL into the large box in the middle of the page. Then hit "Update My Signature." If your signature is too big, you will see red in the box at the top of the page. If you see no red, your signature is fine.
