jaymig53
So as the topic title says, I have a pretty crappy laptop. I think it's one or two years old, and I haven't upgraded anything on it, since i got it. It can't play any of those games like CoD4 or Crysis. So I was wondering what games are really good, but don't require that you have a super computer. I was thinking about getting the Orange Box, but i'm not sure. I would like a shooter, that I could play online. So what do you think? Bonus Question: How do you see your computers specs. I want to see what games I can play, on this old thing. Gouveia
Hey. For the PC Specs, I suggest www.srtest.com. Also, I think you should get HAlf Life 2 and Counter strike Source.
cold fusion 33
GTA games should work on there. To check the specs simply go: Start > Right click my computer > Properties > And there you go .
Boombastic
You can download the old GTAs off the Rockstar website. You made a topic about exactly the same thing (a few days) ago.

Just checked the website out, and it really helped me, thanks. You made a topic about exactly the same thing (a few days) ago. Actually the other topic was about old games that you could download for free, off the internet.

Won't work if there's Vertex Shaders problem, though.

But suprisingly The Orange Box did work, so I'll probably pick that up, once I get enough money. But I didn't get the recommended requirements, though. Is that gonna be a problem when I'm playing, like will the game lag or something?
Deuce Deuce
So... what are its specs? We can't point you in the right direction if we don't know how good your laptop is. Also, you need to at least pass the minimum requirements. If you do, but not by far, then you'll probably be able to the play the game with low/standard graphics. Right, these are my specs: AcerSystem Intel® Celeron® M CPU 430 @ 1.73GHz 1.73GHz, 0,99 GB RAM Don't really know exactly what they mean, but they can't be good. But I was thinking about getting The Orange Box. Seems like one of the only games I can play, that isn't too crappy. This is my Video Card, wich is the reason, for why I can't play most games.
