jormapetteri
I have a problem with SA Place Manager, i launch GTA:SA, and SAPM, start game, move to any location, alt+tab, click Add Place on SAPM, and it shows coordinates: X 0 Y 0 Z 0, no matter where i am. Doesn't SAPM work with Vista? Or is there something else i'm missing? thanks in advance...

liesofsilence
Maybe it's because of the fact that anything higher than v1.1 doesn't support modding?

pdescobar
SA Place Manager reads and writes memory and those locations are very specific to the exe version. If you have version 2, you can google the "MTA downgrader" and essentially turn your exe into version 1.0 which Place Manager should support. However, if you have version 3 (like the steam version) then you probably need to search out a "no-disc" version 1 exe. Can't give you any help beyond that since such discussion is classed as "warez" and not allowed at this forum. As for the original posting, SAPM works fine for me with version 1.0 on Vista but it occasionally has trouble finding the SA process if SA has recently crashed. If you have version 1.0, reboot and try again.
