There is a big game coming out in every quarter, so what would they do, not release GTA 4? Anyways, MGS 4 is only for the sh*tty PS3. There are a lot more 360's out there, so I don't think that MGS 4 really matters. It dosen't matter when they release it, everyone who wants the game is going to get it, eventually.

MGS4 is coming from april to june.GTAIV from february to april.

I already have both games pre-paid at Gamestop. I might get flamed for saying this but I'm a hell of alot more excited for MGS4 than GTA IV.

If you venture outside the GTA IV Forums there's alot of MGS fans. A bunch of them are 360 owners also who are wishing that it gets ported.

In OPM magazine, Assassin's Creed won for Game of the Year, and it's on both systems. I think it's safe to say Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid are systems sellers for Sony PS3, but in some odd way, with as little hype as one can imagine... GTA4 is too!!! I luv it

Indeed. I think it's the staggering amount of people that would be in the same

"category" of GTA players as me:

 

Was done with gaming after PS1, thought it was neat to see the newer stuff on

PS2, then Boom, GTAIII, I had to have a PS2. A PS2 or 3 is a GTAStation for me.

 

I was around for the original xbox/halo vs ps2/gta. For me, it was obvious:

Revolutionary, expansive, and entertaining Urban Environment over

neon green nonsense in galaxies far away.

 

The Xbox and 360 have continued a trend of making titles for Sci Fi fans, which is cool.

But Sony has tailored more to the quasi-realist, present day and fantastical history.

 

Was always my cup of tea, the only reason GTA made it into my heart, and I suppose

was also a reason Body Harvest never did, way back when

It is certainly hotly contested with good merit in regard to GTA being built first on xbox 360 as the preview seems to indicate (they claim 3 weeks behind the 360 for PS3, and I missed that before, but this should not be the same as a ported game, it's being created largely in tandem

It's not that hard to save up and buy both games... It would take like one day at work, if you have a job.

 

Even if you only make 7 dollars, minimum wage, you could buy them both with just 18 hours of work!

 

I'm buying both, because I've never played a MGS game, but this one looks good, and I want to try it out. BUT, I'll definitely be playing GTA IV first.
