PLEASE HELP!

Right, I just received delivery of San Andreas PC version and installed it but when I tried to play it a number of things were f**ked up:

> Everything is slow.

> The graphics (especially on cars) aren't as good as my PC Vice City.

> It occasionally doesn't respond to my control.

> Cheats don't work.

> Peds are the same colour as the sky (It looks like they have been cut out of the scenery) and on one occasion I walked through one.

 

Can anybody help me?

 

All in all I think it's a waste of £15 so far and I can't find a Tommy Vercetti skin that I can open (ZipGenius won't do anything with the RAR I found)

Do you have any mods installed?

 

As for the cheats, I hope you know that you have to type them in-game and not in the Pause Menu. Also, make sure that you spell them correctly.

 

For the graphics issue, we'll require your system specs.

 

You laptop is just near the minimum requirements, so I would suggest you to run the game at the lowest possible settings. Reduce Draw Distance to zero and turn off anti-aliasing.

 

Also, update you video drivers and delete the set file from the User Files folder.

A - Nope, I haven't touched anything.

 

B - Yeah, I've been typing them in-game and nothing happens.

 

C - Okay. the main issue is the graphics card only hitting the requirements.

Or download the v1.1 patch. It solves it.

@girishb: The solve is install Official v1.1. Read some topics about cut out people.

You mean the v1.01 patch, right?
