I was just thinking.. thought id ask the hardcore writers here (not the poor noob writers) if they were good at science and maths..

Ive found that you either excel at English and History... or science and maths generally.

Of course theres the rare few who are good at them all and the very common group whoa re bad at all tounge.gif

I was just wondring, I was in top class for english and History at school but like 3rd set down for maths and science tounge.gif

I excel both, and NOT at History and English. The latter require a lot of writing, which (believe it or not) I hate. I can never write on cue. I have to do it at my own pace. I am good at History too, which really fascinates me (as some of the 'vets' know on here).

I'm good at English and History, but Math and Science are my worst subjects.

I guess that's the stereotypical writer's strengths. English and History require a lot of writing and essays, while math and science have to do with calculations, which I am not good at.

I'm pretty much good at everything, although my interest (lack thereof) in maths and science etc. naturally resulted in me doing slightly poorer in them, albeit still fairly well. tounge.gif

History, did poor in that due to a lack of interest, too (poor being fairly good but not great in this case, haha)... didn't learn/revise the information as much as I could/should have.

English? Knocked it out the park.

Anyway, I'm flunking Algebra II, I'm getting Cs in Biology (not complaining there), I took Geography last year rather than History (and passed), and I'm not doing so well in English II, mostly because I'm lazy and a procrastinator. Not to mention I suck at essays. I view high school the same way most authors do, though; it only seems important until you're out.

Same here. I'm doing really well in English and Geography, my favourite subjects, but not as well in Maths, simply because I'm just not as interested in it. Still, I'm doing reasonably well, but it fails to keep my interest for long.

well im a noob wirter so shoot me for that but

basically in Maths,Science,Geography i failed or did really badly

but in English, History i did ok like C's and B's

Art i excelled in. I got a motherf*cking A* in my second year there and in my art GCSE's I excelled like a mother bitch lol
