Steve Crook
Note also that depending on choices you make about what order to do missions in, other missions never become available (eg when A tells you to waste B you will not get any more missions from B even though there may have been missions from B remaining). It's called mission sealing. Mission sealing will prevent you from ever achieving 100% you will only get close to it. Does that happen with anyone except Kenji? You can kill him before you've done all of his missions. Can you kill any of the other people that give you missions or lock yourself out of doing any other missions? saintdave
I believe that's it. I checked the Marty missions but they are available any time as long as you get to the phone whilst it's ringing. liesofsilence
If you complete Last Requests before doing all missions in Portland, you can't complete them anymore - except the phone missions. Don't know about Marty Chonks though. Too bad Dem is banned... In Vice city stories you can take the mission where Louise is kidnapped by Marty before you complete all the Marty Missions. But I normally do all the missions in a tier before I do more. But I think that in the mission where Louise is captured by Marty and you are forced to kill him you don't have to do the Marty Missions to do it Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/306342-locking-yourself-out-of-missions/#findComment-1057392988 Share on other sites

The Horror Is Alive
I think it happens with Luigi's missions too. Can someone check for me? Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/306342-locking-yourself-out-of-missions/#findComment-1057398412 Share on other sites
Bartleby
I think it happens with Luigi's missions too. Can someone check for me? Yes, it is possible for the missions "Pump-Action Pimp" and "The Fuzz Ball" to be locked, since you already unlocked Joey's missions in "Drive Misty For Me", which leads to Toni, who leads to Salvatore. pdescobar
I'm a little late to this party but you can lock yourself out of as many as ten missions from four different characters. All of Kenji's five missions can be sealed by completing Waka-Gashira Wipeout first. As Bartleby noted, the Luigi missions Pump Action Pimp & The Fuzz Ball can be sealed by completing Last Requests first. Also the Joey missions Dead Skunk in the Trunk & The Getaway can be sealed by completing Last Requests first. Finally, the Asuka mission Two-Faced Tanner can be sealed by completing Grand Theft Aero first. None of the phone missions should every become sealed although El Burro's "Big n Veiny" mission requires some cleverness or extreme luck to complete if you save it until after Last Requests. XBRIX
When I found out about this I was trying to beat GTA 3 100%, all i needed was unique stunt jumps and the rest of the hidden packages, but i didn't bother to finish becuse i wasn't sure if i did the missions in order. Is there a way to find out if you beat them in order, like maybe i should have a certain % done with only a couple of unique stunt jump and like 30 hidden packages left? Can anyone help me out? What is the "correct order"? Is there just one correct order? Who knows. But what might help maake sure you get them all in a reasonable order is the GTA Wiki Mission Tree Steve Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/306342-locking-yourself-out-of-missions/#findComment-1057415682 Share on other sites
pdescobar
Look in your stats. If it says you have passed 73 out of 73 missions, then you have done them all. If it says less than that, you either have more to do or you locked some out.
