That looks neat as hell M57! I like the roof details. smile.gif

 

I've been trying to model one of the warehouses into a bit more 'HD'. I also added some sort of interior, that eventually should become a fighting zone. It would've need some SCM coding for working properly though. Like spawning a couple of 'guards' outside, a crowd inside the fighthall and ofcourse two fighters. And since the ground under the warehouses doesen't come with a hole, i have to edit that too if i want it. monocle.gif

I really like it M54, I now know that the best and pretty much only way is to do it like that. Anyway, I'm just creating HD Burgershot textures (The exterior).

 

As for being knackered, that made two of us tounge.gif

you sir just made my day ^^

 

i allready have two different claude mods, but his head is so big all hats and bandannas just dissapear behind the face tounge.gif ive tried to mod alittle in 3d studio but to say i suck would be the understatement of the year lol

 

i have done some txds for the face thougth.

biggrin.gif Made major progress with the Hoods Rumpo XL: added graffiti, environment mapping, SA lights, retextured bumpers and much more.

 

Now just need some tweaks like SA numberplates, rims and a better damage model.

I finished my layout designs for Greasy Joe's and Punk Noodles last night, gonna smoke a cig then i'll start the modelling - burger shot's not getting textures till all 3 are done then i'll just go for an all out sesh and get 'em done in one go icon14.gif

Very nearly done with the new Hoods Rumpo XL:

  • Optional Neons & Foglights kit (replaces "extra1" so appears on some and not others)
  • Chrome-lipped black rims with body coloured centre cap
  • Decals
  • Working SA lights
  • Graffiti
  • Slammed suspension
  • New SA texturing and damage model

I've nearly finished the interior for Greasy Joe's going with ipl spawned props this time as opposed to modelling them into the mesh. M57 - I've fixed what you suggested in the PM earlier on today, Added a ghost door behind the bar so there's at least some idea of where food is coming from. Also fixed the oversized model so it can still be walk in if you like. Lot of progress tonight, I've been busy. biggrin.gif

 

Seeing the state of the greasy joe's model I'm still all in favour of the traditional interiors throughout the whole mod - It's both easier and saves a lot of time playing with R*'s models trying to get stuff to line-up!

is it possible for you to make it work with SA-MP?

I mean, in SP it works pretty well, but when i try to launch SA-MP, the loading crashes at the middle and game crashes.

Any ideas?

Play this online would ftw and would surely turn this mod more popular. smile.gif

It wouldn't work with SA:MP, since all servers use San Andreas models. Imagine going on a server and you having Liberty City, and everyone else having San Andreas. It just wouldn't work. However, GTA: Liberty City for Vice City can be played in MTA, we would have to look into it.

Hollaz, if you REALLY want to higher the building up in polies, do displace (LOLOL)

nah, just add misc. things like pipes, slates on roof, detailed windows etc.

 

This mod is really getting popular

GTA Liberty City for Vice City can be played in MTA, we would have to look into it.

SAMP can have another tab for this mod.

It would be cool with a interior for the Punk Noodles by the main drag. Maybe with Chunky Lee model behind the desk.

 

And IMO the Burger shot is poorly placed, looks quite ugly.

 

Ballas models could be used as Purple Nines.

I think the intention is to use the Balla ped as Purple Nine, and Grove ped as Red Jack.

 

However, I think the models should be replaced with the original GTAIII ones: in New York it's much colder so Mr. T-Shirt and Shorts (Balla) will have to go, and Mr. Denim Jacket (Balla) plus Mr. Checkered Shirt (Grove) have to go as these fashions are exclusive to the West Coast.

Sr HardStyler, the new clothes etc looks pretty/very good. They could make a nice addition for buyable clothing at the shops etc moto_whistle.gif

I think his claude mod would be great in LC mod, but one thing I would probably like to see is his jail outfit and a black suit over the full suits, for example the pimp suit and the gimp suit which both don't fit with claude at all.

Very nice Monitor, I'm not even sure that they need retexturing, the GTA3 ones look fine. I suppose higher res is always better though.

That would only really be useful for buildings completely covered in glass: the building doesn't actually reflect, it just has a texture involving the buildings around it. Quite smart actually, but not a practical solution for any of the buildings in Liberty.

cubemapping, and it could be practical in places such as sunshine autos and maybe a few others. you rarely notice it when playing the game though and it's only really any use in first person shooters biggrin.gif
