GTAF Photography Topic

Zak: It's just an old fully manual fisheye lens. It's a M42 mount with a Nikon adapter attacheted to it. I picked it up on eBay a while ago.

I'm pretty happy with it!

Im I the only one that feels like this topic didnt get enough....shall we say, attention? I mean, it was moved, and half the other people are probably thinking..where the hell has the topic gone? Oh well.

 

It was just moved and nothing was said about it. I think an announcement about this forum would of been a wise idea.

 

You know, im starting to feel bad at the fact that its my fault this isnt as popular.

i always visit this topic because i like it.

here are some photos with my new panasonic the zoom is incredible big and good, colors are beautiful ... this is the 2nd time i went out with the camera, the first time was a total failer because i didn't know how to use it

I like the 2nd and 4th the best. Maybe I should go out with my camera too, otherwise I have nothing to take pictures of .

if you leave in a old city you can look on the buildings for the details, that is good and look for some grass plants etc that grow on the buildings. just look carefully everywhere and you will see something. go in a industrial zone if it is safe and be creative .

A boat sunk in a storm a about 3 weeks ago off our coastline and spilt everything onboard.

 

Seein this in real life makes you feel quite amazed that there was only one boat involved lol.

@Doink. I dont know, lol. I think it must be off the boat also because there was quite a few there and they appeared on the beach about the same time as the wood.

 

@Flicko: Cheers, I think the second one is one of the best there.

 

@Saget: The beach can be quite nice during summer, but in winter it usually get trashed with seaweed and sh*t for some reason :S. Its definately not the prime holiday resort though any time of the year.

 

And yep, it was a very fun day....Very cold too which ruined it a little.

Not a fan of that sort of photography Zak, but I like the composition and everything. Good job, but take pictures of SF since that town is so vibrant and full of life.

Still haven't found a photo in this thread that surpasses this, brilliant. Jigga has a strong feel for good composition. That photo is perfect. I love that aspect of photography, composition isn't something that can really be learned... I think it's a real natural and awesome talent.

Finally, today (hopefully) I am going to the seaside with my mom, and she let me bring the camera ! I'll try to get some photos of whatever is there.

 

Also, here's a picture that my dad took on our trip to France.

Yes, I know, they aren't perfect. It's hard to see if it focuses correctly if it's cold and it looks kinda blurry in the viewfinder. So most of them are a bit blurry.

i have been hired by a construction firm to photograph the entire casino next to the sea. i have to take data and photos from all the walls, details, cracks etc, they want to rebuild the casino like it was back in 1919. of course i will make art pics and panoramas when i will buy a tripod. is a 130cm good one ? i'm equipped with 2 super zoom cameras (fuji and my panasonic)

 

now the casino is rally cool, because it was closed for 18 years or more. really spooky , especially in the basement where there is no light and are lots of rooms. maybe i will find something cool

Well, you try taking a photo at night, where you need to NOT use flash, and need to set the exposure time to about ~1 second. And not move the camera. Without a tripod.

 

Take a photo of a ghost in the basement . Sounds fun anyway.
