I need a D-series (preferably) Nikon low-light lens. Where would be a good place to get a quality one used? Any specific models anyone knows of?

Are you looking for a refurbished one or a brand new one? The dollar has been low for a while now, and i saved alot of money on bying my 500mm from B&H in New

York. The only drawback is that the warranty isn't as good as it would be if i bought it here. But then again, im not planning on treating $ 5500 worth of gear like a toy. Besides, the money i saved on the purchase itself would pay for a few repairs.

 

For second hand lenses, you should check out the buy and sell forum at www.fredmiranda.com Most of the members there are serious people, so i wouldn't hesitate buying something there.

I use isarapix, it's probably the fastest picture upload site right now. They let you post thumbs (you've gotta copy the forum code part after you upload), but the thumbnails are really tiny, which I don't like. edit: Oh, and it helps people in other countries or something.

 

But if you guys can't handle the page stretchers I post, I don't mind

Doesn't stretch for me, but most people are running at 1024x768, I know.

I use photobucket because I like to keep an online album of everything I put up, so other people can see it. Try doing THAT with your stupid little imageshack.
