I giggled so much when I uploaded this picture. Look to the left.

That's like a 'Spot the Ball' competition.

Anywho, had to do some crazy filtering to this to try and get rid of some noise, darkness and shake... my hands are too shakey for darker shots.

And this is an HDR shot, which is so much better than an ordinary shot as the ordinary one looked a little flat.

I never take pictures anymore... and I never add to this topic anymore. So I decided to add some random old ones that I don't think I have posted yet.

Nice madogg, but what was the purpose?

We were out filming for a movie project at school, and while waiting for the rest of the group to join us we had some fun.. The one of the guy in the chair will be the dvd cover.

New Canon Mark III. Doesn't get any better than that.

stfu you bunch of Canon whores, at least consider the Nikon D3.

imo, that's the highest quality DSLR around today.

Nikon D3

edit: I'm not saying Canon isn't worthy, of cause they make top quality cameras. But in my opinion, espcially with the recent release of the Nikon D300 and D3.

With Canon, they have more than one top end SLR. For studio stuff, their best is the EOS 1DsmkIII, for sports it's the EOS 1DmkIII.

With Nikon, you have everythintg in th D3 biggrin.gif

Not that i'm biased or anything!

I'd much rather prefer a Canon 5D for studio work, the 1D series has too many functions only to be used in a a studio.

From the inside of a construction site on campus.

The first time I went in there my battery died after this picture (I'm an idiot). The next time I went in I got caught by an RA in my building and had to deal with sh*t from the head of my dorm. So hopefully I'll be able to go soon and get a lot of construction site pictures.

-edit-

We also tore up a rental car...

I found some 5 hearts at home, so since it's Valentine's day (I don't like it though), I thought, why not take pictures of them. So, here they are. Yes, I know that they aren't the best quality or focus, or whatever else you can think of, but I'm just an amateur.

And I tried making an 'effect'. Doesn't seem to be bad, IMO.

It's really hard to keep my hands and the camera still for 5 seconds. If I even breathe, it moves and the picture gets distorted. And the Image Stabilizer doesn't do anything really. I didn't expect it do to.

Lol, sounds like your professor underestimated the photography industry tounge.gif

My guess is he'd feel an entry level $500-900 camera is in his price range. There's pretty much nothing you can get under $400, and that's if you're lucky.

I'm mainly familiar with Canons, and my guess is the Canon Rebel XT ($450), XTi ($550), or XSi($800 or so) are in his price range.

edit: Off that topic, I've posted my 2008 Chicago Autoshow thread in Vehicle Chat, since it has more to do with that than photography. Here's the link if you're interested wink.gif

Only small because they are for sale.

Not bad for a 15 year old?  tounge.gif

This is you?

Heh, shortly after I took these we got chased out by a cop in an unmarked car, but that's a story for another time.

I think I'm going to enter the first one in the contest, but I'm not sure yet.

@Isonis, very nice pictures icon14.gificon14.gif

@raresh, it'd be nice if you started your own topic, you always posts tons of pictures in one posts, making the topic quite large.
