NYC5
Found out that the name Niko stands for "Victory of the People". It is also short for Nikolaus. It's origin is Greek, German, and Finnish. Don't see Russian in there. What do you guys say? Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/306050-origin-of-the-name-niko/ Share on other sites

Don't see Russian in there. What do you guys say? Niko is most likely short for Nikolai in our Niko's case. Nikolai is a Russian variant of Nikolaus but still, his birth name was not Nikolaus.
