It's the little touches

Recommended Posts

It's the little touches that make GTA SA such a great game.

Like when I saw someone being chased by the police. He was dressed as a car valet and was on a freeway, but he looked back and gave the cops the finger biggrin.gif

Or when I was jet pack surfing, riding on the roof of a car. I looked down and noticed that the two dudes inside each had their arm leaning on the window frame and were tapping their hands in time to whatever music they were listening to

He says that the details make the game what It is today.

Exactly. It wasn't necessary for them to include such detail. But it's great that they did. Even after playing it for some time you can stumble upon things that you've never seen before. Either because you've never noticed them or because they only happen very occasionally

The Phantom Menace

Indeed, the little things do make the game what it is. I've recently started playing the game after two or so years and to be honest, it's amazing how much in the game I've missed. Like "Bad~Boy#17" has said, I love how as the story develops, WCTR News reports on them, and at times gets the view of what's happening from the residents of San Andreas; obvious example would be the reporter interviewing some guy when the LS riots take place. I also love how as well as having the serious side to it, they add the comical side to it as well.

Another thing that I like, (which takes place on the radio again) and adds to the realism, is when they're talking about the weather and time of day. I haven't really noticed it on any of the other GTA games, so when it's foggy they'll say "take care out there", or "it's a scorcher today". It doesn't sound important, but it really does make the game that little bit better. Well, to me anyway!

What??

I can't say I've ever seen that before......I'm gonna have to check this out

but indeed, the little touches do make the game that bit more interesting. I remember in GTA III when you reached a new island, there would be a radio new bulletin saying that the bridge was repaired, I always found that cool - the dozens more radio easter eggs are even better.

Is there a list of them anywhere?

I just love the special radio reports when you do certian missions.

I beat the game 4 times just to hear them, but I still didn't heared them all

I was changing stations recently and heard the gal on K-Rose saying something about Tenpenny. But I only caught part of it. Does anyone know what she says about him?

@ AOD666 Listen to WCTR after every mission and you'll hear a lot of this.

@Topic I just crouch on the bonnet of someones car and watch them with a camera, they just bob their heads up and down (The gay thing is when they turn a corner they dont actually move their arms or hands, they barely touch the steering wheel) and then you jack their car and they are listening to some sh*t like WCTR or Radio Off lmao ( i love that station)

Well Steve once again you hit the nail on the head

with this topic...The ability of this game to amaze

and astound is beyond words!!! Always different,

always something new to see, find or hear! Even

after 2 1/2 years (PC)...

I guess one of my fav "little touches" (ooo) is you

dont have to do ANYTHING! Just go for a cruise

or a walk and the A.I. never fails to provide some

hilarious entertainment!

Just be amazed with the ability to travel like a passenger in a plane or train and the ramps actually go down if a train goes by. And you don't get a game over if you pass a mission and die. You still have that mission passed (that was in previous ones, i know) rah.gif
