Alexander Blade
Few days ago i saw screens of San Andreas at rockstargames.com/sanandreas . And i say 'WOW!' , i did not see the graphics in SA like that before , 'I want this graphics at my PC !' . Rockstar decreased SA PC version Motion Blur abilities to pure image warping at high car speeds and it's all . I tryed to find blur creation in gta_sa.exe and i find it ! I already add new features of Motion Blur into the game . Features : - Motion Blur is activated for planes, boats and helicopters . - Motion Blur works even then, when the player is on foot. - Motion Blur is changing when car(made by R*)/Player(by me) speed changes . - Motion Blur minimal creation speed is set to zero , so blur is working all the time . - New Motion Blur parameters are added , so you can configure your Motion Blur better . Installing : Unpack this archive into GTA San Andreas main folder . ASI Loader is used here , if you have one installed , you may not replace its files . Run gta_sa.exe Editing parameters : 1) Open "MotionBlur.ini" using any text editor (notepad). 2) `MAIN` Params : BlurValue - main blur value . BlurPlaneValue - main blur value for planes . HeatValue - air rocking (1/0 - on/off) 3) `BLUR_STAGE_N` Params: Each stage is independent from other stages . Main param of each block is `PlayerSpeed` , this is the speed , what player must have to set current blur paramemeters to parameters of this block . PlayerSpeed - speed of current player . Warp - image warping . ObjectLoop - loop of objects . CamShake - camera shaking . P.S. : There are 2 config files : "MotionBlur.ini" - my Motion Blur config . "MotionBlur_Orig.ini" - original blur config , you may delete this file if you don't need it Screens // it's not all abilities of Motion Blur Advanced ) Download link: http://Alexander.SannyBuilder.com/Files/SAMotionBlur1.0.rar Additional `weather` and `steam` files : http://Alexander.SannyBuilder.com/Files/SA...lurAddFiles.rar Edited January 3, 2008 by Alexander Blade RyanDri3957V, AshGamer007, Snoops27 and 1 other

WordsBG
About the Float Separator: I'm not sure which language you used for coding the tool, but at least in Delphi you can set the Separator by a global Variable eg. DecimalSeparator := '.';. Maybe you can solve the problem in a similar way.
rstomrs
I don't know if it's possible but maybe you can try to add a sort of blur just after you used the bazooka, sort of an effect of the loudness then. I see that you got a blur when your falling so I thought: when you smack down to the ground and stand up, you should get a blur to, this would be so much more game realistic. Hope this tool get's further development. All your tools are great btw. Tom

Tom Yeah, that will be realistic. same with car hits, granade explosion, etc... maybe if alexander releases those scripts that controls the blur, it can be done. ehsan_zt
jost_vice that was a good reference .i didn t know it(DOF) has mathematical things like that. in simple words depth of field is an effect that gives blur for far objects. this is my motionblur.ini code : [MAIN] BlurValue=100 BlurPlaneValue=20 HeatValue=0 [bLUR_STAGE_1] PlayerSpeed=0,00 Warp=3 ObjectLoop=0 CamShake=0 I thought maybe we can get a better effect

uncajesse
If you have an nVidia card, get nHancer driver settings tweaker... www.nhancer.com and try changing anti-alias mode to Quincunx. It is mostly a line anti-aliasing mode, but it also blurs slightly the textures and edges, and is VERY fast. I think it also makes scene seem to be all the same, instead of objects in a 3d world. Here's a screenshot the settings I use for GTASA, if you want them:
