Brutuz
And if its a FX 5200, It will barely play SA, but I've noticed you can play SA on intergrated Intel Laptop Graphics if you have a fast CPU (Like how I managed to get it to work, at 10fps at 640x480 on a TNT2 16Mb with my Core 2 Duo )
Lawley
looks definitely like the fx5200 http://www.superwarehouse.com/images/produ...ForceFX5200.jpg I thought my 6800gt was bad, that card is just terrible. :[ but tbh we need to know the rest of your PC specs to get a general idea of what fps you will get. Picolini
Hmmm, well if what the guys are saying, that the card is low quality, I would expect a minimal increase in game performance. The processor is is only 2Ghz, which is about half the modern day's one, and it's single core so it suffers from that as well. 1.43GB of RAM is pretty good, it'd run Vista fine (not with that processor though), I'm guessing it's 1.5 and 768mb's is being used some where else... The computer I used to use had a 3.0Ghz Pentium 4, with 512MB RAM, and onboard graphics, I think it was 128mb. On all the lowest settings at 800x600 res, I got the game to run just at about 30fps. So you can probably expect around that performance. Not sure about when you install the card though, it might be a bit better. It'll probably be choppy here and there, mainly if you have car mods or other mods that are high poly and have high res textures.

matthew1g
VIA/S3G Unichrome IGP does that answer your RAM question piclolini? and yes the 5200 is a definite improvement over what you have right now. if your uncle mean fast as in faster than what you have now, then he was right. But to put it plainly, they weren't good when they came out, and they haven't been later . you'll run SA fine on that system considering I used to play it on: Pentium 4 1.7GHz 512mb ram Geforce 4MX 64mb it ran without any lags @ 800x600 on everything set to low :edit: & whats d difference between a 420 & a 440 (geforce 4 mx that is) anyhows my game was giving me a hard time in the beginning. i was getting a bsod. now i run it perfectly i only have some slow downs in parts of san fierro and lv. i 'l post my display ops later i forget them lol my specs are: intel p4 1.7 ghz geforce 4 mx 420 64 mb win xp with service pack 2 512 mb of ram albatron px848 like series motherboard realtek ac'97 sound device http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtop...23&hl=matthew1g way back, when I started posting on the forums Edited January 6, 2008 by matthew1g
Fozzy Fozborne
It's a Palit fx 5200, possibly an fx 5200 Ultra. Either way, It's a three-generation old budget card. Edited January 6, 2008 by Fozzy Fozborne

Actually, Vista runs fine on a Athlon XP, with aero too, but the GPU might be a bit limiting. javi13: uhh, That looks like a really low end new card (HTPC style) or a older card... Nothing like a 7600GS...
