Ive noticed in all gta that one of the main characters that is your allies always dies like in GTAIII it was asuka who worked for yakuza died

in vice city it was lance(cause he betrayed you)in VCS it was that hobogirl Louies and in SA IT WAS SMOKE (cause he betrayedyou)so in GTAIV WHO do you think will be killed because they will either betray you and you have to kill him or someone else kills them.i think its Roman he looks like he'll licth on to anything to get to the top thats why he lives in a crappy apartment, runs a broken down taxi depot in broker and probaly ows alot of people money.

I've been here since Vice City debuted though I bought GTA3 prior... I don't read every post, but just flip through the back pages and you'll see what has been mentioned, often times in more then one thread. There's alot of information already posted

To be fair pretty much everything there is to cover on the game has been discussed now, so until Rockstar release more information and announce the highly awaited final release date, most people will repeat older topics.

Jordan pointed to new shots on his site, but I am still unclear outside of one what ALL was released, so there is something new, claimed, but I had hoped for something new in that regard in terms of picking apart still details, perhaps. I know most of us have wanted some more actual gameplay insight as the trailers don't help in that regard (I still try to imagine the way I play GTA now to playing GTA4 for example

To address the topic proper, I as well think a typical plot twist is in store. It's hard for a storyteller to go against type and not do a twist in the heading of a story and it's characters. As you hear in some early commentary tracks to home video film releases, things like screening to an audience before release became impossible to do due to everyone using cell phones to share 'secret' movie details. Film makers and script writers had said that over the years audiences got wise and expected the unexpected...

When Uncharted ended it's story, I was taken by complete surprise because I wasn't expecting it. Simple things like that can still catch one off guard....if that can be equated!

I don't think Roman will turn on you, but I do think his life will be on the line more than once. Now if Roman dies or not, that's all speculation. I hope he doesn't though, I like the whole fact that Niko has someone to look after.

i know this may sound stupid but i can look into a characters eyes and see their personalty and i see roman as some one that will backstab you at the last moment.

 

I may be wrong thow and i noticed main characters will be able to change their clothes to.

Yeah, Roman does have that backstab potential. You're right though about the clothes, it looks like we won't have to see somebody in the same outfit every time we meet them.

I reckon that Roman or some of the people seen in the 3rd trailer will betray Niko.

if roman doesnt die i think it will strongly be Vlad cause he reminds me of diaz from Vice City and Vlad runs a small pertection racket i think Niko will kill him and take his bar... then youll have to do protection mission at his bar then theyll change the name to niko bar like in vice city were you got diaz mansion and you had to do protection mission.

Also in Trailer 3 Roman looks suspicious before the IV logo appeared.It kinda gives me a idea that Roman might be plotting something,maybe even use Niko to become rich or if he sees Niko moving up he will probably be jealous and backstab him.

Niko and Roman kinda remind me of the Vance brothers you know lance and Victor ,Niko and Roman once they get to the top they migth start being called the "Bellic cousins"
