Snow effects

We know rain effects on the camera are in the game again from the latest trailer... you know, where the droplets hit the camera and slide down the screen?

 

I was wondering, IF there is snow (OMG TEH SNOWZ!!1!) do you think they would add that little detail aswell? running through a snow flurry and you see flakes stick to the screen, melt and then wipe away?

 

Would you think that was cool?

There's not going to be snow, because from the look of the screen shots, it looks like mid october. Notice the colored leaves?. There is never any snow in the new york area in mid october, so no.

There is, however, a calender. This means there are months in the game other than October.

When did they say that there was a calander? I don't think that there is going to be seasons, because imagine how much smarter they would have to make the pedestrians. They would have to put jackets on, people shoveling the sidewalk, the snow slowly melting, etc. You wouldn't want them walking around in a te-shirt and not seeing their breath in the cold.

We do, only in Janury/Febubary though. There are times where we get 2 feet or more, in one storm, every year.
