And no tigers don't just kill every human they come in contact with. They get fed every day in close contact with people. The reason you're not supposed to antagonize animals at the zoo is not because they'll kill you, but because the zookeepers don't want the animals even more upset at their state in captivity. Presumably I could kill any of you...am I justified in doing it because you antagonized me? No. Would I get death for it? Yeah. Did the tiger? Yeah. Justice? Who gives a f*ck, it was a liability, morons. No one deserves DEATH for messing with an animal they thought was completely restrained. The tiger lost all its rights to live because it was locked up in captivity and broke out of the crap security system and attacked people who were intentionally antagonizing it? What did you think was going to happen if the tiger got out? It's an animal built for hunting and killing, and if it happened to get out of what was keeping it away from people, it was the people in charge of its security who were at fault. And i'm not absolving the humans of responsibility, clearly someone screwed up big time, and will have to deal with that. But fault or no, when there's a wild carnivore walking the streets of a major city, who has already killed one person, you put a bullet or 50 in it. You're searching the zoo to find the tiger when you find it mauling two guys. You have two choices: 1) Kill it. 2) Leave to go get a tranquilizer gun, while more people are mauled/killed. From what I read, I think the guys were probably taunting the tiger, in which case the tiger made sweet justice out of their stupid actions. Sucks one of them died, but you don't f*ck with tigers.
