pdescobar Posted December 27, 2007 Share Posted December 27, 2007 If you have a game already loaded where Katie and/or Barbara are your girlfriend and you start a new game, those bonuses are still in effect for that new game because the memory does not get completely zeroed out. All i need to do is have Katie as my girlfriend in an old save file and in any of my new games i keep my weapons. It is really helpful. I realised this a while ago and have been taking advantage of it ever since. I guess it does work on XBOX if it is happening to you. Are you on XBOX? I beat the game 100% and now i have unlimited ammo. never used a cheat, but when i start shooting a tec-9 for example, the extra bullets just goes up as the clip i'm using goes down. Since you are on PS2 and so am i, then if you have i save file with Katie and then start a new game, get some weapons then die, you should, in theory, keep those weapons. Next time you play, ask out Katie, and just have her as your gf. You don't really have to do anything, just be her bf and you'll get the benefits. She's in San Fierro.
