Bond
Do you guys think that LCS was just a waste of time and not worthy to be considered a game worth remembering?
Abel.
WTF! LCS is an awesome game, stuffing the gta formula onto one UMD of crime ridden entertainment. Maybe you haven't tried any helicopter game saves, they can breathe new life into LCS.

The storyline was excellent,I loved the missions, they are still fun and the gameplay is the best part. It's my favourite GTA.
Abel.
I agree, LCS isn't the best GTA, but it's still special, even more than VCS, even though that was also a triumph.
monkeyman237
LCS was a great game, I loved the missions, it definetly should be remembered. And remember it was only a PSP game, its hard to work that much into so little space.
EasyTiger
Well it's better than VCS. It's a credit to Liberty City.
Rashon.
Liberty and Vice City Stories are greatly underrated games and when most talk about GTA, they hardly even mention these games.
gtamodder
LCS Was good still, but i don't think it is as good as GTA3, VC, Or SA.

Abel.
IT wasn't a cash-in, it was a full scale game.

HeliPilot
I guess I'm a bit confused here. I can't understand how people see LCS and VCS as cash-ins. The whole cities are there, not trimmed or smaller versions, the whole darn cities are intact. With alot more to do after 100% then the original GTA3 and VC. More street races, much better side missions, Empire building, Avenging Angels, outfit changes, safehouse interiors, better weapons, better vehicles, etc, etc. R* took the two best GTA locations and reworked them by loading them full of stuff to do. In GTA3 and VC, there was very little replay after 100%. Sure, pony farming and a few side missions, that's it. In LCS and VCS, you can play virtually forever because of all the other stuff to do. Now, I love GTA3 and VC, I own them all and find I play LCS and VCS while GTA3 and VC are collecting dust. SO, to answer your question, YES, LCS and VCS are both very worthy GTA games. I completely agree with you. I bet most of the ones that say LCS and VCS aren't up to par games are people that hardly even have played the game. unknownmercenary
I don't have a link, but Dan Houser basically admitted they were cash-ins to fill in the space inbetween SA and GTA4.

God, Nancy, stop milking it. Even if the Stories were intended to be cash-ins, Houser would never admit it. So take the recognition you as a fan have been given and shove it wherever your gratitude for Rockstar should be.
unknownmercenary
troll much? I never said I didn't enjoy the games, but if you honestly think it wasn't for the money then you're just naive.
HeliPilot
troll much? I never said I didn't enjoy the games, but if you honestly think it wasn't for the money then you're just naive. Good point, and too add to your misery, ALL GTAs were produced to make a profit. So, by your logic GTA3, VC and SA are all cash-ins. Just remember, EVERYTHING is done for money, so who is the naive one here. That still doesn't answer why some people think VCS and LCS were cash-ins,. If the cities were half the size with half the missions of GTA3 and VC I would understand, but again, both cities are full size and loaded with stuff to do. And, without a link your comment about Houser is mute. ==EDIT== I think there is some confusion here. The PS2 versions of LCS and VCS could be considered cash-in ports, simply because they were originally released for PSP ONLY. They sold so well for PSP, they decided to port to the PS2 and milk the cash cow. That still DOESN'T make the games cash-ins because the PSP VERSIONS were specially designed to be portable, and exclusive. So, I see that the PSP versions DO stand as great GTA titles and as worthy as any other. Edited December 28, 2007 by HeliPilot

Bond
Granted I think they already had GTAIV in mind before even conceiving these two games. I suppose R* figured that since it was going to take a long time for GTAIV to come out, they might as well keep the public entertained and wanting more while waiting for the grand game. HeliPilot
I can't believe you guys got your panties in a bunch over one comment. WOW, what a troll tw*t you are. This has nothing to do with panties little boy. It has everything to do with FACTS. At this point it doesn't really matter what you post, simply because you will still try to get the last word in, and most likely sound like a troll tw*t in the process. So i say, GOOD DAY, TROLL tw*t!!
Smiley001
Well I consider these 2 games cash-ins but I still think they are brilliant. Altough many interiors you could go into in previous game are closed, there still are some extra and new features R* has introduced into these games. But still, GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas was the true trilogy and then R* needed something to stall the public until the next gen of GTA-s will be released. DarthTemplar
LCS was NOT a waste of time. I still like VCS more then LCS but LCS was a really good game in my opinion. The only pet peeves I have with it is none of the radio stations had any of my favorite songs and you didn't get the tuxedo till the end of the game
