eed help with TAXI for PC version

I posted this in the cheats section, but they asked me to post it here.....so....mods if you need to, you can decide which one it would be best in.

 

 

OK, I have 98.40% completion.....the ONLY two things I have not done that is showing up in my stats are the tags, which I can do those easily and the taxi missions....now for SOME reason, I have used the +151 trainer and it has given me 49 fares...all good so far, but I cannot GET the taxi to pick up any more fares!

 

The message just stays on the screen about there not being any fare here, try someplace else! So I drive ALL over the city and the message just stays on the screen...I can NEVER get that last fare! Is this a glitch or something with the trainer? I turned the PC completely off and used NO TRAINER at all and still got no fares...the exact same thing happened!

 

Is there a way to manually fix it in config files so that I HAVE 50 fares? I would not have even used that cheat, if I had of known I would be having so much trouble just picking up one fare. But as I recall, the reason I used it in the first place, was because I was having trouble picking up any fares.

 

If ANYONE can help, it would be greatly appreciated...I am only a couple points from 100% completion. Remember that this is the PC VERSION. I use win xp pro for my operating system.

Sounds like you have the taxi glitch. Please upload your save to http://gtasnp.com/ and either post the link here or PM it to me; I've lost the only previous copy of a save that had this glitch and I'd like another for reference purposes.

 

Then run your save through this tool: http://pdescobar.home.comcast.net/~pdescob...ta/taxi_fix.rar Just unpack with winrar and drag&drop the save file onto that program. That should fix the glitch and allow you to complete the taxi missions.
