TubbyJ
For Christmas I got $45, so I was wondering what games (for the PS2) would I get 'more bang for my buck'. At the moment I'm playing through some of the PS2's older gems (MGS3, SP: CT, Shadow of the Colossus, FFXII, etc.). What should I get, seeing as I'm a long way off from getting a next-gen console? I considered getting San Andreas for the PC, then downloading SA-MP for it. It would definetly hold me over till I get a new system. What do you guys think? YourNeighborhoodKiller
Get God of War or Manhunt 2. Which ever you like most.
err0rz0n
Get Final Fantasy 12. It's huge and will keep you occupied for a while. No online play, though. But believe me, it will worth every penny you pay. One of the best games I've ever played.
The-King
Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction, best game ever in my opinion. No other game combines as much freedom, action, and large conglomeration of authentic weaponry and vehicles. Twenty to thirty hours for the first playthrough, not to mention the total of three different characters adding another twenty to thirty hours of play with all three, along with hundreds of collectables and dozens of items to unlock. In simpler terms, it kicks ass. |PropagandaIncorporated:|: Steam:|: DeviantArt:|: Last.FM|
Trows
Yeah, Mercenaries is fantastic. I'll second that recommendation. No dough this post will get questions and and maybe even some fighting.
Oblivionz
Yeah, Mercenaries is fantastic. I'll second that recommendation. I'll third it, I love playing Mercenaries when I'm bored, and I've owned it for a long time. Almost since release. I also recommend God Of War 1 and 2, both fantastic games. tommy vs. claude
Mercenaries. Nothing more satisfying than leveling an entire NK base with a carpet bomb. Edited December 26, 2007 by tommy vs. claude
Xo4
Mercenaries. Nothing more satisfying that watching than leveling an entire NK base with a carpet bomb. I'd go Mercenaries as well, wait till you get the cheat box!

Boombastic
Neighborhoodkiller I have a story about Manhunt. My dad's friend, 40, played it for half a day, and he came back to work the next day physically scared. DO NOT get Manhunt. If you want a good killing game, go for God of War II Edited December 26, 2007 by Boombastic
uzi 9mm
I would probably go for Manhunt 2 since I ain't played it and the original was good play.
