I did it in vice by making the game believe the aim button was pressed. My advice is to start looking for DirectInput calls, then you trace the data of the aim button. I write my mods on the fly in ollydbg, then later transplant the assembler code into my own c++ hook. A burdensome way of modding but you learn writing in assembler that way.
