PORTUGUESE is the official language in Brasil cuz brasil is a ex-colony of portugal Since he's never heard of any Portuguese community in NYC, he suggested that you're more likely to come across a BRAZILIAN, Portugese-speaking community in NYC. He wasn't confusing languages.. if he was actually ignorant of the fact that Portuguese is spoken in Brazil, then why would he have brought up Brazil? Some think that Brazil has its own language but it is not true. We speak portuguse here... of course nowadays our portuguese is quite different from the language spoke in Portugal... just to compare, there are more differences than UK and American English. Existe uma grande comunidade brasileira em NY, assim como existe uma comunidade ainda maior de chineses, japoneses, hispânicos. NY é uma grande Babel, e lá você realmente encontra pessoas de todos os lugares do mundo. In NY you can find communities from China, Germany, Ireland, Portugual, Italy, Japan and lots of other countries. Some say that NY is the "world capital" and it may be true. Significa, que o nivel de complexidade e profundidade do jogo vai subir, dando acesso às diferentes realidades e comunidades de uma cidade. Not ceases to be good. It is the first time that I remember to see the flag of Portugal in the GTA universe. I will translate The sign says in portuguese the same as it does in english. Salao= Lounge comunidade= Community English= Leftwood Community Hall Portuguese= Leftwood Community hall/lounge. Slamman Posted January 3, 2008 Share Posted January 3, 2008 Espanol is different, I was just playing and recording to tape while doing so, another play-thru of Uncharted DF and one of the options is to set the language for game menus or actual dialogue and if you were searching for something like that in GTA.... well, Uncharted is your game, ma8! It has about 6 languages including English, basically done like a dub film! It's rather neat.
