rageagainstsanandreas
Hi, When i uninstalled San Andreas in 2006 i forgot to save my previous games. I discovered that they were all gone when i reinstalled it recently, so i downloaded some saved games from this site and put them in my GTA San Andreas folder. However when i loaded them, it would just return to the beginning credits where CJ is collecting his baggage at the airport. Rather than at the place where the game had been saved. My game is V1.00 so i have been downloading version 1 games, i also tried version 2 games to see if it would work, but i still get the same problem. I would be extremely grateful if someone could tell me how to solve this problem, i just can't bare completing the game all over again when i spent so much time completing it without cheats. Any solutions please reply soon, thanks.

rageagainstsanandreas
All the pages i've found are generally 2005 version 1 saved games, so maybe that's why they are not working, as i got my San Andreas in 2006. I will uninstall game and all components, then i will reinstall and let you know what happens.

rageagainstsanandreas
Try these saves. I reinstalled game and added a version 1 saved game to San Andreas files, from that list of saves. However when i loaded the game, it closed and came up with this error message: "gta_sa.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." I'm not sure how to fix this?
Ryan
Try deleting the .SET file in the San Andreas user Files.
rageagainstsanandreas
Try deleting the .SET file in the San Andreas user Files. I deleted it, but it is still closing the game and creating that error message. "gta_sa.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience" Do you know why it is doing this?

Ryan
Ok go back to that page with the saves and downlaod one of V2 saves and try it. When Rockstar released V2 they fogot to change the version in the readme so im thinking you have V2 and V1 saves wont load on a V2 game. Im pretty sure this is your problem. Ryan
Glad I could help you. Just make sure to remember, if you ever download any more saves remember that you have V2. Merry Christmas
