On Topic: 10 years ago I never imagined GTA or games in general to be where they are today. Personally I think GTA will probably finish with GTA IV (I don't think it'll be a trilogy. Maybe a sequal, but not a trilogy), and in 10 years time we'll have something else. Who knows Saints Row could spawn a offspring like GTA has done, but I seriously doubt it. ryuclan Posted December 26, 2007 Share Posted December 26, 2007 Well today hundreds of people are excited about GTA 4 but exactly ten years from when I click the post button, we will be very more advanced in gaming and this might seem like an old NES game and nobody cares, maybe barely anybody will post in here like the GTA old skool forum. Do you think the graphics will get much better in 10 years after I click the post button? I doubt it. Although some might dispute this the graphical quality of gaming does have a ceiling. Meaning a state where the standard is the best quality and it can't get any better. I mean whats more realistic the photorealism? I think ten years from now graphics wont mean nothing anymore and the real reason for gaming will emerge victorious once more. Well Mario and Zelda aren't constantly offending people. They can make game after game without any worry over censors, critics, and morons. Every GTA is a major struggle, and as the games continue to get more realistic, the more problems there will be. But i recently popped in GTA III. I still love that game(my first GTA), but I think everyone likes the classics. Im not saying GTA will last for ever like Mario, but it still will be around for us to play. I feel even in 5 years people will still be playing VC. Sure that sounds weird, but just watch and see. I think they're gonna figure out ways to make them even smaller like they do with everything, so space isn't going to be a factor. I can't imagine GTA in 10 years time. As for people saying it's gonna be like The Matrix or the world is gonna end, they've been saying that since the beginning of time. I don't see any apocalypses or head-plugs anytime soon.
