Yes, it is indeed v2.

 

And next time when you request a mission, make sure that you have sufficient ammo and full armour. Also, save close to the mission point. It saves time of the helper.

i don't really know where to get armour easily. i guess i could just get it from ammunation

Use SAM to find out armour spawn points. Set filter to 'armour'.
