Love.Life Posted December 25, 2007 Share Posted December 25, 2007 ok as you all know its xmas woooo but unfortunately about 30 minutes mine just got spoiled . I feel stupid writing this but last night we had a massive party. So obviously i woke up feeling jolly and all that but still a bit hungover . Unfortunately though to add even more to my misery i got another call concerning my courtcase Now you'll probably tell me to f*ck off and ask me how much i drank last night but about 30 minutes ago i got a call from my lawyer who was with the police saying one of the witnesses who was due to be in court with me ( I have no idea what he was giving evidence for) had gone out for a late night Xmas eve party and had come home to find his apartment trashed. Now burgarlys are a common thing to happen up here so chances are it could of been a spotty 15 year old smashed out his mind BUT nothing was stolen meaning why would some one go to the effort to trash his apaprtment unless it was to frighten him. I don't know how they found out where he lived. Maybe he got to involved with them and they knew anyway so they went to his apartment to try and scare him to not show evidence and when they couldnt find him they could off wrecked his flat as a warning (this could be a bullsh*t idea though). Now as well as this i got told that about 3 days ago another witness (im sorry but i dont know if the evidence he was giving was big or not i dunno) was a victim to a hit and run attack!!!. He survived and he's in hospital with a broken leg and minor bruises i think but hes going to get transferred to witness protection. Chances are the hit and run attack was someone drunk but it could of been members of the criminal gang Should i go and ask for witness protection. My lawyer made it seem like a good idea to be on the safe side but im guessing the 2 witnesses who were mentioned previous were going to give solid evidence against the gangster so they were probably into deep. Whereas me well its just a crappy property damage charge so i doubt the gangsters or thugs (whatever you wanna call em) will hunt me down for it however from what i heard it seems these bastards are serious and for them to go to all that trouble must mean the gangster i met isnt a smalltime thug but he could be a senior gangboss or summit i dunno Im not asking for you to believe me im just asking for advice on what to do What are your thoughts on what i should do please PS i probably wont be on much as all this stuff needs alotta sorting out but i should be on most of today Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But since they're idiots and don't know anything about human nature and psychology, stop listening to them. There has to be a way out of this for you though. You don't want people like them scaring the sh*t out of you and your family or worse over something as petty as this. An equivalent to the US fifth amendment or something similar would be nice. Will you shut the f*ck up Yes it's humane nature, no it doesn't only happen only in movies Sure there Might be consequences, to a certain extent, and it'd get you scared for sure. But if it wasn't for those who stood up against criminals, or against whatever they tought was wrong, lots of things would never have changed. You can choose the coward way out and not do anything about it, or stand up and do what you should do, even if it takes witness protection and lots of courage I know his testimony might not change a lot, but i still think it is important to do it. You can tell me that's only my beliefs, but i think it you also have to do it for the society you live in.
