Secondly, for the console specific GOTY's, can't it just be games exclusive to that console? my bad on the COD 4 thing, its on there now. and as for console GOTYs, people don't always think exclusive games are the best on the console, people who only own a ps3 for example could be voting for assassins creed or COD 4 as their favorite game on that console. I am not limiting peoples choices, the fat was trimmed from the console game lists, and its all in alphabetical order. shouldn't be too hard to tackle. edit: for those wondering, the Xbox had ~120 games released this year, the ps3 had ~85. the PC and Wii had so much crap, i didn't bother sorting through and chose the top 50 games on gamerankings with the Virtual console games pulled out of the wii list Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

CoD4 and Halo don't deserve to win. They weren't anything special. And Crackdown is getting ignored simply because it was Xbox exclusive. f*cking lame how people are voting. Heaps of people played it, it wasn't very ground breaking because more or less everything was taken from System Shock 2 and simplified to hell. Although the game that I think is game of the year is already up there (CoD4, although it wasn't originally up there) there are other games that I think are better than some of the games on the Game Of The Year list that I'm sure others would vote for. Like Assassins Creed for example, I think that it is a spectacular game and a lot of GTAForumers would vote for it as you can see the Assassins Creed topic is very popular. Although you have done a great job so don't worry. It just means next years Game Of The Year Voting will be better (that is if you decide to allow us to nominate). That's right, I don't own a console and I don't intend to buy one ever again. I barely even know what Crackdown is. They should vote for innovative games and groundbreaking games and games with kick ass stories and plots. If the developers make their innovative and groundbreaking games with kickass stories and plots console exclusives they don't want my money, and they sure as heck aren't getting it. But for the PC it has to be a toss up between these three :- Stalker World In Conflict Crysis At a push I would way World In Conflict because it totally rejuvenated my love of RTS more so than Command And Conquer 3 did.
